You Mean I Actually Have To Work To Be Successful In My MLM Opportunity?
By
If you are someone who is looking at an MLM opportunity and wondering how in the world you would fit in to this business model, you need to think outside the box. So many people are under the mistaken assumption that every MLM or network marketing company is a scam. Some people believe that these types of companies are all pyramid schemes. While this may have been true in the past, most of the top MLM companies in the world today are truly successful for a reason.
The top salespeople in a successful MLM have a lot to offer new recruits. These are exactly the kinds of people that you want to sign up under because they have already blazed a trail for you. You simply have to follow their rules of success and mimic what they did to be successful too. So many people simply write off these MLM companies before they realize that some of these people are making huge amounts of income each year. Why is that?
One of the main things you will probably see with the most successful MLM salespeople is that they don’t spend their days watching television and eating bonbons on the sofa. These people work! They make phone calls, they talk to everyone they meet and they work hard training the teams that they’ve recruited. In short, they treat their business like a business. If there is one huge mistake that people make when they join an MLM it is not taking their business seriously. They sign up and assume that they’re going to start making the big bucks just by virtue of buying a startup kit.
The fact of the matter is that any new business is going to take a lot of hard work in the beginning to reap the rewards in the end. Eventually, you will get to that residual income that you so desire, but it doesn’t come fast and it doesn’t come easily. However, by following the training methods of the most successful people in your organization, you will get there a lot faster than if you try to reinvent the wheel.
An MLM opportunity is just like the name implies: it’s an opportunity. No matter what kind of opportunity you have in life, it still takes a decision and hard work to make it into a successful business venture. Otherwise, it just remains a dream in your mind. In order to turn your dreams into reality, you have to take strong, definitive action and decide that no one is going to tell you that you won’t be successful.
Let Me Know When You Find Any Opportunity Where You Can Get Rich And Not Work (Legally Preferably)! Are You Ready To Work?

Hey Eric,
I like how you put it, there is work involved when you start a business. Sometimes people are afraid of failing and that is the reason they don’t put the work that is needed to succeed.
The one thing some folks need to realize is that if they don’t work their business, they will still have to put some work for their employer. Might as well, put some part-time work to something that you own so it will free you from having to build someone else’s dream.
Chat with you later…

Josh,
You have to be kidding me! You mean there is work involved in business? Guess I’ll just have to be a blood donor or something that I don’t have to do anything with to get paid. Or I’ve heard that there are some countries where you can be physically able to work and NOT and have the Government pay you. Let me know if you can figure out where that is?
Thanks for stopping by,
Eric
Hey Eric –
What an old of way of thinking huh, where people believe this MLM model is a scam.
People tend to think it’s a scam due to how the industry was just about putting people below you who bought all of your products and where there was no customers involved.
Those that operate with business partners and customers selling a true product is not a scam.
The MLM model is a priceless model. It uses the power of leverage so everyone benefits.
In my mind, I feel sorry for the people that believe it’s scam because perhaps they don’t even know what constitutes it being a scam. If only they knew differently.
Great post dude!

Eric, what — you mean I have to work?!
That’s it, I quit!
No, you’re absolutely right, man — keep preaching the truth!
Derek,
You wouldn’t know work if is smacked you upside the head. I know this is true from the effort you are putting into your business. Come on man get it together.
Good to see you
Hey Eric,
You are so right there, you definitely have to work really hard to make any business a success.
Truly, that is why I think a lot of people give up, they find out how much leg work is required to make the big bucks.
Great post brother.
Wayne Vassell, signing out…
At the hotel meeting we are sold the dream.
Images of success are all over the place and the person giving the talk is saying “if I can do it, TRUST me, anyone can do it”. I get what they are doing, but they are selling the dream without fully describing the journey.
We we get on the journey most of our minds are not prepared for the journey, and our dreams get further and further away. Then we drop out (97%)
I am all for tell people up-front and direct. This BUSINESS is hard work and if you don’t work hard, smart and consistently it wont be successful.
Some stay, some don’t. But they all know what to expect!
Great post Eric
Putting Value First

I don’t know about you, but bon bon’s are sounding real good right now. Do they still make those things?
I always say one thing that covers it all when someone asks me about these fully automated systems.
Name one Guru that you can’t name. LOL
The most successful people in this industry are well known because they put the time and effort into their education and their branding. They made themselves valuable.
My name is Piter Jankovich. oOnly want to tell, that your blog is really cool
And want to ask you: is this blog your hobby?
P.S. Sorry for my bad english
It is true that it does take a lot of work to build a network marketing business, just like any business. What I have found though is that the really successful people don’t see it as work. It is fun, something they enjoy doing. So when choosing a company, look for one that sells a product you are truly passionate about.
Great post. Thanks.
Hey Wayne,
Thanks for stopping by. If you aren’t passionate about your company and products, you can easily be swayed and quit.
Thanks again,
Eric McMillan
Hear! Hear! Finally, someone telling the truth about MLM. I have been invovled in several companies and believe me, it can be hard work keeping up with prospects, training team members, talking, talking, talking, emailing, emailing, emailing … but when my neighbors are jealous that I can be “working” while sitting by the pool with my laptop writing a couple blog posts and articles on occasional sunny days, it’s all worth it.
I work, but I get to make it fun, too.
