Looking for MLM Marketing Training? Get a coach!

Most MLM companies are teaching there reps to market the same tired and antiquated ways that have been used for years in the industry.   Remember that we are already in the second decade of the new millennium, people.

And the trainings in MLM that we have today had already grown pass those times.  Today marketers can couple all of the offline skills used to traditionally build a business with those online skills such as SEO, PPC, etc. to maximize traffic and through put of prospects.

Some of the more successful marketers have the fortune to have undergone the proper MLM marketing training to make them more profitable than others. What is the one secret they have learned in MLM training?

The secret is choosing a team with an experienced coach (upline leader) who will teach, guide and motivate you towards success.   This should include, but not limited to, training sessions, personal coaching calls, and special events with other leaders in the community

Just think about it.  Every professional business person or athlete has a coach to aid in training and keeping them motivated.  Why should it be different in MLM marketing?

In MLM marketing, you can start your business for anywhere from a couple of hundred dollars to a couple of thousand and literally choose the coach or leader who will be training you. Of course, this will involve doing a little background check on the team leader you choose to work with, but in the end, it will well worth doing the homework.

Here are a few pointers that will help you when seeking out the “correct coach” who will assist you in your MLM training.

1. Make sure that he or she has a proven track record.

A gifted leader will also prove his or her worth in the results produced. Generally speaking, you will not rise higher than your leader, so know how high you want to reach and find a coach who can get you there.  Do some basic research online.  Google your potential coaches name and make sure what he/she is telling you they can do or have done is really so.

2. Go with someone who has been training in MLM and be sure to check out their coach or upline.

You want a leader who will be there to answer questions and walk you through each step of the process if need be. Those who are successful network marketers are people who stay for the long haul. The main problem in network marketing is that many people give up too quickly and never reap the harvest.  Less than 5% off all people that enter MLM or network marketing ever reach a substantial income.

3. Make sure your coach of choice is adept at all forms of marketing: online and offline.

Marketing your business can eat up a small budget very quickly. Therefore, you must have a coach that can help you identify the marketing tactics that work from those that don’t so that you can use your advertising dollars most effectively.

Be sure to discuss your financial situation with your coaching prospect up front.  Chances are if your prospective coach never had to build a business on a budget, then it is likely that all of the strategies they teach will be for people with disposable marketing income.

4. Be sure your coach is constantly learning and evolving with the industry.

The top marketers in the world will tell you that they will always remain students of the industry themselves.  Most top leaders spend a good percentage of their yearly income on training courses and events that will keep them one step ahead of the rest of their competition.  Make sure your coach has a “Never Stop Learning” mentality

Choose wisely. The right opportunity and company may be the vehicle to your success but an effective MLM marketing training coach is like gas in your tank.
