Learn How To Get More Leads In A Day Than Tiger Woods Has H……..

by Eric on January 29, 2010

As Britney Spears says “Oops I did it again.”  I Sure Did.  I jumped on the bash Tiger Woods bandwagon, but not for the reasons you might think.  First let me make a couple things abundantly clear: 1. I absolutely do not agree with Tiger’s lifestyle choices or decisions he made.  2. With that being said, it doesn’t take away from the fact that he is arguably the best golfer ever!

You’re probably thinking by now, what the hell does this have to do with copywriting?  The following is one of many MLM success skills that all marketers need in their arsenal.  The subject today is types of headlines that attract clicks.  The list is as follows and I am borrowing it from Ben Settles on MLM TF2 (<- this = Props in case you can’t tell).

1. Shock Effect: i.e. THE HEADLINE FOR THE ARTICLE YOU ARE READING (A little vulgar, but not to bad)

2. Arouse Curiosity:  2010 Prediction: Feast or Famine?

3. Straightforward Benefit: Learn Copywriting Secrets in 30 Days

4. Od Headlines:  Doing the Flava-a-Flav on Your Prospects Head

5. Contrasting: Having A Urologist Check Your Eyes Is Like Have a PPC Guy Give You  SEO advice

6. TV and Movie Titles: Learn To Beat Down Your Adwords Competition Like Jack Bauer on 24

7. Challenging Status Quo: There is NO Such Thing as Article Marketing!

8. Mix and Match:  How To Dominate Article Marketing With Youtube

Well, there they are.  Hopefully, Mr. Dillard and/or Settles :) doesn’t mind me sharing some of the TF2 secrets on here.  Oh well, I guess it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission some times.

The point here is if you want people to read what you have, the titles are just as important (if not more) as the other 500 words in the body.  A new friend of mine, Chris Owen (see chrisowenacademy.com), has some training coming out on this same topic called “Sticky Clickable”, which was the basis for me writing this article.  The title of his training is a great example of copywriting in itself.  Think about it, when you read that title you almost have to click on it just to see what it is all about.  There in lies the lesson that all internet marketers need to remember and practice: Focus on a great headline and be sure the content follows suit.

Some other good copywriting resources for ideas that I follow everyday are Ben Settles Blog and Copyblogger.  You can find both them by searching Google.  Go ahead and optin and starting cataloging the headlines you receive and remember, don’t swipe.  Modify and adapt!

I can’t tell you how many times a day I get the same headlines from 2o different people marketing the same system and they don’t bother trying to be a leader by putting their own spin on things.  To all of you who are doing this: STOP, because neither I or anyone else involved in this industry, who has a clue, will even bother opening your message because it isn’t (pay attention here instead of Aretha’s R-E-S-P-E-C-T)…………….U-N-I-Q-U-E……………

Thanks for taking the time to read this article and I hope you got some ideas and value out of it.  There are a thousand ways to skin a cat (i.e. Find MLM Success), but there are just somethings that are needed in all areas of marketing no matter what avenue.  People call copywriting the million dollar skill and as far as I see it they are spot on.  Master the fundamentals of copywriting and watch your click rates and conversions begin to skyrocket as a result.  For those who  don’t know about Mike Dillard’s Traffic Formula 2, and Magnetic Sponsoring, that the banner link on the side bar “how to generate endless leads and instant cash for any mlm” is your link to get TF2.   I recommend this course to anyone serious about building a successful business online

Hey Eric, thanks for the plug. Great article by the way, I particularly like the headline. You gave some people some great tips and directions here also. I would add too, for those who don’t know about Mike Dillard’s Traffic Formula 2, and Magnetic Sponsoring, that the banner link on the side bar “how to generate endless leads and instant cash for any mlm” is your link to get TF2. I recommend this course to anyone serious about building a successful business online.

Great work Eric, these are definitely some great resources, and great advice.

Nice article Eric and great website. I have not picked up TF2 yet, but may have to now. Until I do, I will be referencing your 10 techniques here. I like your site as well and have book marked it to read more of it it later.

Kevin,
Thanks for the kind words. Also, TF2 is a really great course and covers a lot of different strategies. I would definitely look into it when you get a chance.
Thanks again,
Eric
