MLM lead generation, before the internet was around, usually meant that you became a pest to be around. You were supposed to present your opportunity to every person whose path came within 3 feet of you, and that even includes, while riding in elevators. All your schoolmates or coworkers & friends and family heard your presentation, at least three times each. You attended big meetings at hotels and you made a lot of three way calls on the phone.

With the aid of keyword research, MLM lead generation can be fun and painless. For instance, who do you believe is a better prospect? Your grandmother, or someone who just searched for the keyword, “best mlm program”?
It would be a great thing if you could get listed by search engines, for such a keyword, especially Google, in the first page of search results, preferably toward the top. You can make that happen with pay per click advertising, but that is not advisable if you are new to search engine marketing. Frankly, you would lose money.
To generate leads MLM without spending money, start out with the free side of search engine marketing. Learn about article marketing. It is easier and faster than building websites & blogs. There are many free article directories that will publish you article. They have a higher page rank than any new site you would build, so you will get better results.
You will write a simple article, making sure to optimize it for the keyword that you chose, during your research. The keyword will be in the title and throughout the article, including the first and last paragraph. Remember to include a link to a page providing more information. Depending upon your choice of keyword and the amount of competing listings for it, you could end up on the first search engine results page. Then you will know how it feels to receive highly targeted MLM lead generation using the search engines without having to pay per click.
