The benefits of direct home sales are immense to those who are that way inclined. You can get up when you want to and you do not have to answer to a boss. You no longer have to commute to and from work and as a mother you can work around your family. Those are just some of the benefits, but unless you follow a few guidelines, you may fail at direct sales.

The first key to success is to set apart an office area where you are accessible to your kids, but where they know they are not allowed to disturb you, unless there is an emergency. You have to be disciplined about work time and home time and schedule your time wisely. By making lists of things that need to be done, you will not waste time and forget important tasks.

Finally, in direct sales, you should expect rejection. Not every person wants or needs what you are selling. Do not take this personally. When someone does buy, do not be afraid to ask for referrals. Set your goals and chunk it down to see what you have to do every day in order to achieve your goals.
