MADISON, AL, September 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ — “Affiliate marketers, network marketers, and home business entrepreneurs in particular have been hit hard over the past 18 months and traffic for them has been scarce,” says Jim Yaghi, one of the trainers spearheading the PPC-focused training.

PPC or Pay-Per-Click advertising has been traditionally the most valuable source of traffic for online entrepreneurs. 29-year-old David Schwind, who worked closely with Yaghi in building the training series, says, “Changes in consumer laws have made it difficult for systems that rely solely on affiliate traffic to do business. With most of their affiliates WIPED off of major advertising platforms like Google and Facebook, the system owners are struggling to stay alive.”

Online merchant providers and advertising platforms are responding to pressure from the government to police their clientele. Their approval procedures have become increasingly strict, qualification more difficult, and penalties far more severe.

“Google, which has been a major supplier of traffic begun to permanently ban advertisers found in violation without warning. But that’s not all–we’ve even heard that Bing and Facebook are doing the same now as they too try to clean up the Internet of get rich quick claims and illusive offers aimed at collecting personal data,” says Jim.

“We’ve run experiments and case studies for about 2 years to track the causes of the problems and dissected how to resolve them all. We’ve even consulted with internet lawyers to help bring the information in a simple and digestable way to our students.”

David Schwind and Jim Yaghi reportedly generate as much as 3,000 leads in a single day from a variety of pay-per-click platforms. Their course, titled “Operation: PPC Supremacy” goes live for sale on August 31st and opens for only 24 hours. The buzz surrounding its release has been building for over 3 months as the two California residents leaked sample training.

“Yeah, a lot of our friends told us we gave away too much free content from the course–but we wanted people to see instant results so they would understand how much our course is going to change the course of their business,” says Schwind.

An excited Yaghi continues, “This training is our baby. There’s been a real lack of good traffic training lately–and we’ve had many sleepless weeks as we worked day and night to share this with everyone.”

PPC Supremacy is live at http://bit.ly/cKzG42 and closes 12 noon Eastern Time September 1st, 2010, Today.

Since I’m already wearing my flak jacket and helmet (on loan from Chris Owen), I figured I’d stir up some more controversy.  Apparently, I love shaking up the hornets nest.  So here’s MLM marketing controversy number 27.

Yep, They Suck!!

You can’t market your MLM or network marketing company with paid traffic without a good funded proposal system.  There in lies the Suckiness of MLM and network marketing.  Most companies don’t pay enough front end commission for you to be able to cover your marketing costs.  The only way to operate one of those two business models with paid traffic is at a loss for several months until some of your down line is producing.

Free Still Has It’s Place (Even If It’s Not Free)

Hence my agreement with Wayne Vassells comments on my post last week.  Free (or not so) traffic is a neccessary evil when marketing your MLM or network marketing company.  You have to rely on these traffic sources before being able to move to paid traffic, unless you have a tried and true funded proposal system (i.e. MLSP, CCPro, or Harmonic’s new system).  Without one of these tested systems, you will be spinning your wheels for a while testing with paid traffic.

Paid Up Front Is Better For Me …

The solution: Direct Sales.  I guess it’s not really a secret that I prefer DS to the other alternatives.  Hence the blog name right?  I can afford to spend $7-$8 per lead because my business pays over $1,000 for a $3K product.  Sure the backend isn’t as good as MLM, but I can turn up the traffic and basically gauge my income by the spending on PPC.  I am not relying on the 3 out 100 I would bring into a traditional MLM or NM to make me successful or help my income.

And, They Still Suck!!

NM and MLMs Suck, but I am still building one on the side just to prove that it can be done.  I am getting there, but I won’t have a full recollection of the total costs until I am there.  Here is one other thing that you could do (Hint: I’m doing this) to use paid traffic for your NM company as long as they offer some moderately expensive products ($400+).  I focus on selling the products that will allow me to cover my expenses and just run through the numbers.  There is X amount of consumers that want additional income, but might not be searching for that when they come across it.

The last statement goes back to my point from four or five posts ago about working your business tangently and not on the same front as everyone else was trained to do.   Remember, the effectiveness of all the “Goooooo  Rooooooos” tactics get watered down after about the 1,000th copy of their course is sold (give or take a few courses).   <— This is why going after the low hanging fruit and let the numbers work themselves out is one of the best ways to go.  For the most part, the numbers are the numbers, and that being said, I would rather get my numbers outside of an ultra competitive market.

BAM!!, That – Just – Happened!  MLMs Suck!!! Network Marketing Companies Suck!!!

Thanks,

Eric, Elvis Has Left The Building, McMillan

I am getting a little red under the collar lately with people going on and on about free traffic strategies. Come on people, do you really not consider your time more valuable than money? If you spend 8 hrs a day wading through blog site after blog site and forum after forum and social media site after social media site, you haven’t wasted your time? Not completely, but the payoff isn’t as huge as some people like to make it out to be. There are several other MLM marketing strategies that produce superior results.

30, 50, 100 leads a day from Facebook, Right!? That might have been the case before the person that made that strategy packaged it up as a course and sold it to the masses. The reason the strategy worked so well was that very few people were doing. Fast forward and everyone and their brother is doing it so the effectiveness goes way down.

Now I am not saying there are not some places that I frequent that seem to pay dividends, but they are sites where my target market frequent and my message is well received. Even then, I might spend 30 minutes a day, total, on these sites.

Well, now that I’ve rained on 90% of the people’s parades who are on the “free” traffic band wagon, I should explain what is a better alternative for even newbies. Drum Roll please ………… Pay —- Per —- Click. I was talking with a business partner of mine, Jim Yaghi (yep the PPC king), and he brought up a really great point. The fastest way for people to start generating qualified leads and income is through PPC.

Instead of wasting hundreds or thousands of dollars on different courses, why not get a PPC course (say PPC Domination?) and start your traffic there. But, but, Eric, doesn’t it cost money to do PPC. Yes, but if you closely follow the teachings in courses like PPC Domination, you can limit your spending while still generating a steady, steady flow of qualified leads and income.

Once you are generating income from affiliate sales or primary business sales, then move into SEO, and then into these other traffic methods that show up as the wind blows.

I have been called crazy a time or two in my life, but this time I am calling myself smart. What is the main reason people quit the business? Not making any money, however, they will go and spend money hand over fist on the “next big thing course” hoping it will provide that magic bullet for leads and income. PPC has and will remain a great lead generator for anyone willing to get past the “it costs money” mindset. My PPC campaigns take 1, yes I said 1, hour per day to manage and that is it.

What do I do with all that extra time? Work on my SEO, articles, and blogging. I can do this knowing that at all times I have a steady flow of leads coming into my business and all the leads I generate from these other traffic methods are a bonus.

Work Smart, Not Harder!! I am in this business because I want time and financial freedom, not to create a J-O-B and waste time.

Let the stoning begin! MLM marketing tip # 1 Billion

So, I thought today would be a good day to come up with a list of things that most bloggers are doing (or not) that they should get rid of to help them be more productive.

1. Any of those monthly subscriptions or tools (with return policy) that you don’t use on a daily basis. There is no need to have tools or subscriptions just to have them. If they aren’t an intergral part of your business, nix them.

2. Caring about your blog format being perfect. I talk to people all the time who think they are one social media button away from a flood of traffic. The majority of searchers who come to your site from a search, are coming for your content, not the look of your blog.

3. Lock yourself out of Facebook. And all other social media platforms you spend way to much time on. Personally, I limit myself to no more than 1 hour per day to go to blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. People are wasting way to much time on these sites for not a lot of return.

4. Checking email constantly. I put this one in for me. I love watching my leads come in and check email probably every hour. I am implementing a twice a day restriction on myself for checking email. The biggest thing I find with checking email so often is that it distracts you from your current tasks.

5. Anything else that keeps you from your main focus, which should be Sales and Conversions. The best looking site in the world won’t bring you a penny if you don’t focus on these two things.

There you have it. Some mlm marketing, time and money savers that will keep your eye on the prize and not waste your most precious asset: TIME. Just doing anything online doesn’t constitute making progress for your business. You need to be very focused and goal oriented in order to get a lot of things done in the shortest amount of time possible.

Did I miss some that are more important? Let me know what they are. This is a shoot from the hip list and I am sure there are more important things I missed.

The One-Step Secret To More Traffic…

Posted by: Eric | Comments (16)

So you’ve been working really hard building your online presence.  You have bought all the right courses and are following them to the “T”.  For some reason, your traffic is not where you want or need it.

Did you ever stop to think that you weren’t the only one that guru sold his/ her course to?  If you haven’t, you better take a step back and really look at the numbers.  Let’s say that Mike Dillard’s “Magnetic Sponsoring” sold 20,000 copies.  Lets just use the 80/20 here to make things easy.  In that book he teaches the 4,000 (that actually read it) to go after the same target market online.  Last I checked, Oogle still only has 10 spots on the first page where over 70% of the traffic goes.

You mean to tell me that I am competing with 4,000 other people for the exact same internet real estate?  I’m afraid so.  Are you bummed?  Well, you should be! J/K!  The good news is you can get out of the line for the network marketing, mlm, and home business scraps and carve yourself a niche in tangently to those industries.

Yes, this means that you will probably have to rework a lot of your website.  Yes, this means that the content on your blog will have to take a different direction.  But what it also means is that you are going to be targeting a whole different market that is not near as competitive as the one you are currently in.

The good news is that instead of chasing for the table scraps in a highly competative industry, you will have a whole feast laid out in front of you.  You can dictate the terms of working relationships instead of the other way around.

I have told a lot of my business partners this secret and they seemed a little upset with me for raining on their productivity parade.  But the fact is the road gets a lot less difficult in tangent markets.

Get out of the rat race and into profit!

So, what do you think? Am I right on, wrong, or have you already sent the crazy bus to pick me up?
